The brief
Working from home full time, the owner needed a quiet, warm office with a door that closes.
The challenge
The garage floor sat lower than the house and the front had to match the original brickwork.
How we did it
We raised and insulated the floor, infilled the door opening in matching brick with a wide window, and split off a utility at the back.
The outcome
A proper office that's warm in winter, and a front elevation that looks like it was always that way.
