An independent hair and beauty salon on Market Place. Four chairs, a quiet beauty room at the back, and a consultation before anything begins.
We are a small salon, so the person who talks you through your appointment is the person who does it. Every colour starts with a consultation and a patch test, and you are told the price before anything is mixed.
We cut all hair types and textures, and we are as happy with a standing six-week trim as with a full colour correction. No membership, no package upsell, no mystery bill at the till.

Questions we get asked
Do I need a consultation before a colour?
Yes, for any colour you have not had with us before. It takes about fifteen minutes, it is free, and it includes the patch test we need to do at least 48 hours ahead. Book it online or ring the salon.
How far ahead should I book?
A cut is usually fine within a week or two. Colour, Saturdays and the beauty room go further out, so two to three weeks is safer. We keep a short cancellation list if you can come at short notice.
What if I need to cancel?
Give us 24 hours and that is the end of it. Under 24 hours, or a missed appointment, and we ask for 50% of the service — it is a four-chair salon and the slot usually cannot be refilled.
Do you cut curly and Afro-textured hair?
Yes. Priya cuts curls dry so the shape is right while you can see it, then washes and defines. If you are not sure which service to book, ring and describe your hair.
Can I bring a photo?
Please do, and bring more than one. We will tell you honestly how close we can get on your hair today and how many appointments it will take.
Is there parking?
The Market Place spaces are two hours, and the Southgate car park is a three-minute walk. For a long colour, use Southgate.
