Website Design for Hair & Beauty Salons in Lincolnshire

I'm George, a web developer based near Sleaford. I build websites for hair salons, barbers and beauty salons that show your prices and your work, look right on a phone and send people straight to your booking system.

The problem

Great salons, missing bookings online

Recommendations still matter, but most new clients look you up first. These are the problems I see most often on salon websites.

Your prices are hard to find

People want to know what a cut or a colour costs before they book. If the only price list is a photo on Facebook from two years ago, they ring someone else, or they don't ring at all.

Bookings come in while you're mid-appointment

The phone goes while you've got foils in or scissors in your hand. A website that sends people straight to your booking system takes those calls off you.

Your best work only lives on Instagram

Instagram is great for regulars, but people searching for a salon on Google land on your website. If it doesn't show your work, it doesn't sell it.

It's awkward on a phone

Most people find a salon on their phone, often in the evening. If they have to pinch and zoom to find your opening hours or a book button, they move on.

What you get

A website that fills your chairs

A full price list, kept up to date

Every service with a price and how long it takes, grouped into cuts, colour, treatments and beauty. Clients know what to expect before they book.

Your existing booking system, built into your website

Keep using Fresha, Timely, Treatwell, Phorest or whatever booking system you already have. I'll connect your website to it, so every Book button takes clients straight into your diary. You don't have to change systems, move your appointments or learn anything new.

Team pages, so clients can book by name

A short profile for each stylist and therapist: what they specialise in and who they're best for. Regulars find their favourite, and new clients find the right person.

A gallery of your work

Your best cuts, colours and finishes, filterable by cuts, colour, curls or beauty, with each photo opening up larger. It shows people what you do better than any description.

Contact and consultation forms

For colour consultations, bridal enquiries or questions that don't fit a booking slot. Messages land in your inbox with the details you need to reply.

Optional extras: update it yourself, and reviews

If you'd rather change prices and photos yourself, I can set the site up with a simple content management system. Or send the changes over and I'll make them. TryTestimonials, a tool I built, can collect reviews from happy clients and show the best ones on your site.

How it works

From first chat to live

  1. 01

    We talk

In person or on the phone, around your appointments. You tell me about the salon, your services and what's not working now.

  2. 02

    I quote a fixed price

Written down before any work starts. The price doesn't change unless what you're asking for does.

  3. 03

    50% up front

That books your project in. The rest is due when the site goes live.

  4. 04

    Live by an agreed date

Most sites are live within a month. You see it before it launches, and we make any changes together.

What it costs

Most projects are £800–£2,000, plus a website care plan from £50/month.

A straightforward site sits at the lower end. More pages, a large gallery or a CMS move it towards the top. You get a fixed price before anything starts, and the website care plan covers hosting and ongoing support.

Questions

Common questions

How much does a website for a salon cost?

Most projects are £800–£2,000, plus a website care plan from £50/month that covers hosting and support. A straightforward site sits at the lower end; more pages, a large gallery or a CMS move it towards the top. You get a fixed price in writing before anything starts. Full details are on the pricing page.

Can it link to my booking system?

Yes. If you use Fresha, Timely, Treatwell, Phorest or another online booking system, the Book buttons on your site link straight into it, so clients pick a time in the diary you already use.

Can I update my prices myself?

Yes, if you choose the CMS option you can change prices, services and photos yourself. If you'd rather not, send the changes over and I'll make them for you as part of a website care plan.

Can it show the work I post on Instagram?

Your site can link to your Instagram, and your best photos can go into a proper gallery on the site itself, where people searching on Google will actually see them.

Will it help me show up on Google?

Every site is built with the basics search engines look for: fast pages, proper titles and descriptions, and clear pages for your services and the town you're in. That gives you a solid base to rank locally for searches like hairdresser or beauty salon near you.

Do you only work with salons in Sleaford?

No. I'm based near Sleaford and work with hair salons, barbers and beauty businesses across Lincolnshire, including Lincoln, Grantham, Boston and the villages in between.
