Websites for small businesses in Lincolnshire

I'm George, and I'm based near Sleaford. I build websites, SaaS products, games and browser extensions, and I work directly with local businesses: cafes, kiosks, farm shops, butchers and trades. There's no agency and no account manager. The person you talk to is the person building it.

What I build

What your website can do

A website that shows your menu and opening hours

The basics done properly: what you sell, what it costs, when you're open and how to find you. Looks right on a phone, which is where most people will see it.

Online ordering and preorders

Let customers order ahead so it's ready when they arrive, instead of ringing you while you're busy.

Booking and enquiry forms

Customers can book a slot or ask a question from the website, and it comes straight to your inbox.

Customer reviews on your site

Send happy customers a link, they write a few lines on their phone, and you choose which ones appear on your website. It runs on TryTestimonials, a tool I built for exactly this.

Keeping it up to date

New prices, new opening hours, a seasonal menu. I look after the changes so your site doesn't go stale.

When you need something bigger

Websites are most of what local businesses ask for, but they're not all I build.

Web apps and online tools

Full products built end to end, from the design to the database and hosting behind it. I've built and run my own, including TryTestimonials and SiteTell.

Umbraco websites

For organisations whose own staff need to edit the site, I build and look after websites on Umbraco, a content management system used widely across the UK, and the one I worked in at 3C Shared Services. Your team updates pages and news themselves, without needing me for every change.

Browser extensions

Small tools that live in Chrome and work on whatever page you're looking at. SiteTell for Chrome checks any page's writing without leaving the browser.

Games and interactive projects

Built in Godot. Out In Time, my game jam entry, placed 7th in Godot Wild Jam #97, and you can play it in your browser.

What it costs

Most projects are £800–£2,000, plus a website care plan from £50/month.

You get a fixed price before anything starts, so there are no surprises. The website care plan covers hosting and ongoing support.

How it works

From first chat to live

  1. 01

    We talk

In person or on the phone. You tell me about your business and what you want the website to do. No jargon, no obligation.

  2. 02

    I quote a fixed price

Written down before any work starts. The price doesn't change unless what you're asking for does.

  3. 03

    50% up front

That books your project in. The rest is due when the site goes live.

  4. 04

    Live by an agreed date

We set the launch date together when I quote, and most sites are live within a month. You see it before it launches, and we make any changes together.

Things I've shipped

Five products shipped solo since July 2026, including TryTestimonials, a tool that helps small businesses collect and show customer reviews on their website. Before that I was a digital developer at 3C Shared Services, building new features and leading redesigns.
